11th July - Loton Park 2010

Alex Summers set his first ever B.T.D in the OMS CF96 with a second run 50.24sec.

Second B.T.D. was set by Ian Davidson in his CF09 OMS whilst Mike Tregoning was third fastest in the MP88.

Karl Stevens took the class win in the 2 litre Mod Prod class making it back-to-back wins for the hard-driven Ford Escort Mk2.

There was a new class record set in the Pirelli-Ferrari class when Nick Taylor put his F355 through the finish in 58.99secs - the first ever sub 60 second run for these cars.

Jon & Alex Warren won the Motorcycle Sidecars & Trikes class with their Suzuki Trike in a time of 61.92secs which was fast enough to qualify for the Motorbike Top 10!

Paul Jarrett won the Motorbike Top 10 Run-off in a time of 55.23secs which is a new Outright Record for Motorbikes at Loton Park.

Once again another well run & entertaining Nat B hillclimb at the universally famous Loton Park!

Not to mention decent lunch breaks on both days......

Very reasonable finish times and plenty of bottled water to drink.....

An enjoyable weekend all round.....

Good to see Karl Stevens still pedalling as hard as ever in the Escort, upholding the TinTop flag.
I helped him rebuild a jammed gearbox during the lunch hour at Gurston a few years ago and I'm pretty sure he went on to win then too.
