Well what are the rumours for 2009, there are quite a few cars for sale at the moment, so there may be some new drivers in single seaters. Any new projects looking like being finished?

Some small items of gossip picked up over the past few week-ends:

1) Tom New will be sharing with Chris Merrick.
2) Graeme Wight Junior will be completing the bike engined version of the Predator.
3) The Fleetwoods have bought the Menzies Firehawk.
4) The Fidoes will be moving into a single seater.
5) The Wards will be moving into the 2 litre Sports Libre class with a Vauxhall powered Mallock.
6) Eddie Walder will be eating more cake.

This may be in the wrong place (so please, Mr Admin, move me if there is a place for me!), but in terms of 'gossip', I've been wondering for ages what on earth happened to Brodie Branch after kicking off the season in amazing style, he seemed to disappear. Have seen Darren Luke out, but no Brodie Branch. Forgive if I'm well out of the loop and it's old news, but I've asked around a few places and no one seemed to be able to shed light. Cheers.

Word has it that Brodie has found a new interest of the female variety !!
Also Class B(i) contenders, Tim Cross and Alex Hoyle , have purchased the Martyn Silcox Peugeot to contest Class B(ii) in the Midland Hillclimb championship next year.

On a motor front, hopefully should be getting the Astra running now the winter is here - been plagued by engine problems and kinda got fed up of doing everythiong twice for no reason...
