17/04/2011 Rd 2 Silverstone;
30/04/2011 Rd 3 Ingliston;
01/05/2011 Rd 4 Ingliston;
29/05/2011 Rd 5 Snetterton;
30/05/2011 Rd 6 Snetterton;
04/06/2011 Rd 7 Pembrey;
05/06/2011 Rd 8 Pembrey;
11/06/2011 Rd 9 Anglesey International Circuit;
12/06/2011 Rd 10 Anglesey National Circuit;
02/07/2011 Rd 11 Kirkistown;
03/07/2011 Rd 12 Kirkistown;
17/07/2011 Rd 13 Cadwell Park;
30/07/2011 Rd 14 Kames;
31/07/2011 Rd 15 Kames;
13/08/2011 Rd 16 Lydden;
14/08/2011 Rd 17 Lydden.

The Snetterton rounds will be run over 2 laps of the new short circuit. The loss of Colerne in August due to the MoD withdrawing support for ALL motorsport on the venue means the championship will end in Mid-August - the earliest on record.

Yes, it's a real shame Carl, But as an organiser I can tell you it's really difficult to get the "Perfect Calendar" and unfortunatley there have to be compromises. But it still a pretty good calendar with a new Snetterton and a Cadwell together with a lot of events and also a lot of double headers to make the travelling worthwhile.

So in my book a great Calendar, one of the best for a few years

Croft is a tragic loss to the whole Sprint community but we will continue to work with DDMC in the hope we can return.

I understand that Bristol MC are running two Castle Combe Sprints as well as Dyrham Park and are involved with a Llandow and two days of 5 Clubs Wiscombe. That's more than many clubs manage and will keep the members busy!

BUT the British Sprint Championship does start much earlier than most (i.e. 5 weeks before the British Hillclimb Championship). There's nothing available, that the BSC doesn't already visit, later in the Sprint calendar and which measures up to the expected quality of venues.
N.B. 14 events in the calendar are contained in just 7 weekends - there are only 3 one day events. All the events in England, Wales & N Ireland are at current race circuits, its only Scotland where that's not possible at present.

Yes, we're busy. As usual, we run the two Combe sprints, Llandow (with Bristol Pegasus), the two day Wiscombe Park 5 Clubs hillclimb, two AutoSolos, two NavScatters, a Sporting Trial, a Classic Trial (this weekend) and our social events. Hopefully, we can add Dyrham Park to that in 2011 to help offset the loss of Colerne. I think 6 days of speed eventing is enough for any club to run.

Oh well croft was always unlucky for us anyways! Hopefully we'll be up and running for Silverstone
