Aero Rules

I have been looking over the rules for the mod limmited production class to see what i can have on the GWR dax rush for this year and like most of us i cant make much sence of them, I thought i had but then i was looking at some of the car that have ran in this class(see picture bellow).
I was looking at fitting wings front and back but reading the rules i cant so how did this car get away with it or what am i missing??

Argh - I think those devices are not really termed "wings".More like splitters, skirts and aerofoils as they are integral to the bodywork and they were actually available as factory optons from the manufacturer

Ye the factory thing could be the answer.
By the rules i can have something that can come out 15cm from the plan view and bellow the axle for the front, so flip ups and so on, on the rear i can have flip ups as high as the centre of the rear window, i dont have a rear window!!!

Graham, you would if you had a factory fitted hood on the Dax. These of course have a rear window and being factory designed the height to the centre of the rear window should be acceptible do you think?
Now whether you would have to run with the hood up to comply is another matter!!

I don't think you would have to run with the hood either on-board or up!

Check the regs because I am sure that everything 'below the centreline of the wheels' is free - so you could run with a snow-plough style front end, sidepods, rear venturis etc.

Is there such a thing as a Dax Rush offical works plan view? If not I suspect the Scrutineers wouldn't be able to challenge any mods!

Isn't the competitor required to provide the proof of eligebiliy, rather than the other way round?
