Great day today. Wonderfully grippy track. I suspect records falling in many classes. My day shortened by the oil pr gauge impulse line splitting and spewing oil. Back home now to stop the leak and get ready for Anglesey tomorrow.
Still managed 2 out of the 4 timed runs on offer and got a PB. So quite happy despite the sortened day. Craig |

Craig, did wonder why you were heading off so early. Agree, twas absolutley spiffing, & I doubt the track has been better as I too got a PB & didn't leave the track once! In addition to the 4 timed runs a fun run was on offer. I chose not to, figuring you can only push your luck so far.
Gary Thomas got the 1100 record in a time not a million miles off the 2-litre record. Sprinty mentioned that something like 3 cars in one class had broken the existing record. Simon Keen got BTDBTDBTD on his 1st visit, so I told him to piss off & not come back . Poor Tony Ellis had a suspension failure approaching the finish (that car does about 140 there), but he held it together & avoided hitting anything. He whizzed off the the Rev. Barry's, made up a replacement, then that failed too!The start line crew managed to launch about 700 cars. Finally, it didn't rain until I had got home & had unloaded the car. Thanks to LMC for another superlative event.

Nice to meet you today Ian. I'm sure our cars can get in the 45's - it's only a matter of time
![]() Pleased to see half a dozen cars out in the standard car classes & these really are standard & not homologation specials. We had Tim Gill in a Oanda 4x4 & Chris Palmer in a Suzy Cappucino. However, I did advise Tim to bring at extra skein of wool next time - you do need something to do if the car maxes out at 70 on the exit from Beechers. Seems there is a demand for this class.

Meanwhile I am awash with Gin. Off to Anglesey tomorrow. |
