A shed load of class records were broken yesterday. Special note should be made of ...
1) Chris Jones in the Westfield who was inside John Palmer's up to 1700cc Road-going Kit Car class record on each of the 4 Class runs. 2) Gary Thomas who was inside the old Up to 1100cc class record on each of the three Class runs he took. 3) Martin Depper who won the Up to 2 litre Mod Prod class in his 1.4 litre Mini and also set a new Up to 1400cc record in the process. 4) Finally the Lotus 7 Speed Championship contenders were also in record breaking mode. In Class 3 the first three in the class were inside the old record on each of their 4 timed runs. A really great day of sprinting and as others have said so well organised (NB even though I am a member of Liverpool Motor Club and am on the committee I don't do any of the pre-event organising but just help out on the day.) Simon Keen was somewhat shocked to have got the Dallara sorted so quickly after the problems both he and father Richard suffered at Anglesey when it handled so badly. His pace augers well for 2011 and he should be a force to be reckoned with in the British Sprint Championship.

To echo the comments above, another slick event from Liverpool motor club. Six runs and all do so early. We chose not to take the "fun run" at the end of the day. My tyres had taken enough torture for one day with both of us pushing the car hard!! |

slang for Tomorrow
Not sure if it is northern speak. Better ask Dennis, a learned chap and he will probably enlighten us. the thread was started the day before the event. T'internet says that it is internet / text message slang but I reckon it has been around along time..... |

The problem with that is tomorrow becomes today then yesterday etc and as a thread title can become confusing. |
