Ally wheel nuts

Ally wheel nuts: Are these outlawed? Cant find the regulation in the Blue Book myself, but have been advised that they're a strict NO for Racing.

Just converting from bolts, to studs-and-nuts, to ease wheel changes, and came across alloy nuts on 'that internet.

I machined some nuts to get within the 1.5 rule and got pulled the first time out and told to get it sorted before I came out to play again. Cost me a set of longer studs, could have been an entry fee and travelling money.....

Try not to think of it as just extra mass.

Think of it as extra downforce!

Happier?

Red, i am suggesting reducing the waste diameter, (grooves etc) but yes its totally over the top and best left as standard,
