Hello all,

I was over at the Chester MC run BSC round this weekend and talk about a game two halves weatherwise

As nice on Sat as it was 'orrible on Sun, anyway I managed to take just over a second off the 1B class record for the 1 lap International layout...

I'll post up the altogether slower (although more sideways) Sunday run this evening...

Great result James - perhaps a tilt at the Midland Speed Championship might be on for you?

Two great run-offs by all accounts with wins for Terry Holmes & Colin Calder. Stewart Robb Snr finished second on both days and maintains a handy lead in the championship. I kept in touch from Loton with calls to Paul Parker but it did seem that although youi had rain it wasn't as bad as Loton park!

Paul spent the whole day indoors watching the timing screens. I was still soaked through when I rolled in the front door in Bristol!

The rain was constant from about 8am though the whole day but was not so heavy that you got very wet unless you stood out (or sat in an open car) for more than a few minutes at a time.

The track was thoroughly wet but fairly evenly so with no big streams or massive puddles to catch people out. Great fun.

It was wet in cars that channel the water in the wheel arches over the driver's feet! I was drenched!
