Booo, got my entry sent back say its oversubscribed, thought being a MAC member had some perks, like getting entry to the events? Any kind and influential people out there who could change the stewards decision.......

Sorry to hear this, I know they have a committee that reviews the entry's when over subscribed, don't be despondent, put one in for the next time and I'm sure better luck will follow.

I cannot understand why a Hillclimb Supersports entry would be turned down as so few people still enter the class! Surely entries should be spread evenly throughout the classes? Or are all the people who 'boycotted' Wiscombe Park going to turn out for Shelsley?

There are 25 Classes in the entry list . The smallest has 3 entries . Hillclimb Supersports has 4 . The largest 2 classes have 19 entries each . There are 20 entries that are tagged as reserves so theoretically they may not get a run on Sunday . I dont know how many were turned away.

For rounds of the BHC they cannot reject the entry of a registered contender in favour of a non-registered entrant. It's in the Championship regulations.

FWIW, but I suppose an understanding of the unwritten regulations might inhibit people from too much grumbling...
