Andy my Lithium battery is a Braille G9 with a spec of LAH12, PCA230 Is there any way I can tell if it's only suitable for total loss application? The guy from Braille said it 'should' be ok with the ZZR alternator but I was a bit nattered how quickly it was up to 14.8v and the charge rate which is steady at 14.4v with my Varley on was varying from 14.5 to 14.7 on the Braille. Do I need to fit some other device between the alternator and the battery?
Any advice welcome. |

If its only charging at 14.7, then you won't kill a 14.8v pack as it doesn't have the voltage to be able to over-charge it. I'm not familiar with the chemistry of the Braille G9.
