Although an MP62 wouldn't be my choice, I see no reason why it couldn't be reasonably competitive. Given the weights that have been quoted for the MP62 on this thread, I think it will be in the ball park. OK, not as light as say the Force PC or the amazing Raptor, but just remember how quick Russ and Chris Pickering were a few seasons ago in the Vision-Hayabusa which is of a similar nature....
Gook luck with it! |

I have put more than 2 Pilbeams on my scales along with few Forces lost count of the Jedis but can remember the weight of the turbo Jedi. I have also run a fair selection of bike engines on my dyno and I can safely say that most people in British Hillclimbing don't have anywhere near the power to weight they think they have. I'm not slagging off your new car at all. My prediction on Sunday was that Mad Trevor will win the BHC this year in his OMS 25. Of course a Pilbeam Hayabusa S/C is going to be in with a chance with a decent driver. We have noticed over the last few years if I entered my 988cc Jedi in class K with the times I do I would often be placed higher in that class than I am in class I ! I will put money on the Pilbeam Busa SC with driver on being lighter that you in you OMS 25 SC sitting at the start ready to go. Regards, YYVV P.S. and Edinburgh to London via Cardiff might be the best route if you need a Leak
