BRYANT PARK HAUNTED HILLS HOSTED BY THE GIPPSLAND CAR CLUB THURSDAY 27TH UNOFFICIAL PRACTICE FRIDAY 28TH OFFICIAL PRACTICE SATURDAY 29TH OFFICIAL RUNS SUNDAY 30TH OFFICIAL RUNS... News...... Over 100 competitors have entered for this event .... And many have form for the outright contention... Doug Barry and the lola come from a outstanding win fromthe final NSWrd from king edward park Steve moxon Axtell Suzuki also put in a great effort .. The Gippslanders though have the making for a great battle Brett Hayward now the VIC QLD and SA champ is in tune w this car now with the stoker busa though issuse w the exhaust breaking due to vibrations is a concern Greg Ackland new car should addsome spice with Alan Foley Dallara Busa and Rod Moody cheetah sc toyota... both in the chase for victory..... With no Peter Gumley or Gary west unfinished Pillbeam and Tim Edmondson gr55b .... The Fickle gippsland weather may still have a hand on who wins with the wetest winter on record remember 2yrs ago record heat wave...... more news to follow

PLENTY OF ACTION ..... yesterday though the main contentention is where the finish is in the middle of a corner... this was challanged but was over turned.... Wayne Hunter rolled his car but is OK... from a few competitors its very challanging and daunting..
hopefully the weather will clear by late today... more news during the day.....

Run 3 and on an steadily drying track Greg Acland leads the day so far from Rod Moody Peter Minahan Doug Barry Glen Wight ... Brett Hayward had a spin on a still wet patch and slid down the order live timing working well with many competitors taking lap tops and getting great updates ... good crowd for the poor weather Canteen is keeping up w the demand of food and beverages well done to Carol and the team of hard workers

Run 4.... With a dry track the times have improved some... Brett hayward has shaved some time from Greg Ackland followed by Rod Moody in the Cheetahj and Alan Foley in the Dallara busa Peter Minahan .... Many spectators now flooding the balcony at Bryant park great atmosphere here with sun now bathing the track

Everybody enjoyed last nites buffet dinner .... Some great drives yesterday ...
Day 2 of competition brings a wet track and its cold.... times are down by about 10 secs john mcluckie failed to start this run ... We all hope the weather fines up like yesterday... Live timing is a hit with everybody w notable people watching in WA and the nth coast of NSW... UK and Europe....
