Tragic news, great bloke, great character and gave great help and encouragement to all whether at Shelsley, any other hill or just down the pub.
Will be sadly missed.
Our sincere condolences to Gill and all of his family.

Margaret and Paul.

Another well known face missing from SW next year

The Reverend Bob will be sorely missed as will others...

This year will be a year best remembered for its sad moments I fear

Condolences to Gill and the family..

I can hardly believe this sad news. Bob was the epitome of what the dedicated hillclimber is all about. A huge loss.
Sincere condolances to Bob's family.

Barbon Manor

Bob told me that this years May Barbon Manor BHC was his 30th meeting there.

Sadly, as we now know, it was his last at the venue.

I am sure we will all be talking about his exploits this winter and this may go some way to relieving the sadness and loss.

Deeply saddened by the news of Bobs death this morning, he was one of the friendliest faces in the hillclimbing world. Always ready to lend a hand. He has helped us with many projects and will be sorely missed.

Deepest sympathy to Gill, Ian and the rest of the Dayson Family

Rest in Piece Bob
