Busa water pump dimensions?

Hi All,
I'm looking for some info on dimensions of a standard 'busa water pump;

What is the diameter of the inner cylindrical section that locates in the crankcase?

If any one has a photo that would be great!

Cheers
Steve

Steve,

I "think" I may have one kicking around in the shed. Next time I have a hobble outside, I'll have a squint ... can't promise though.

Remember, Murray and I keep our cars together in a shed just outside Aberdeen so you have one dry sumped and one not that you can give a good looking at any time you want.

It'd be difficult for me but I'm sure Murray would be delighted to meet up with you.

Let me know.

Cheers,

Eric

Thanks Eric, I'll let you know if I need to take you up on the offer.

And yes, it is a dry sump conversion I have in mind - but will need to be a home-brew job as my engine is so old - and the sump base doubles up as the chassis base.

Cheers
Steve

I believe I have a busa oil pump and water pump kicking about in a shed (removed from a standard busa prior to it being dry sumped and electric water pumped) . . . it'll be next week until I am at said shed but I can have a rummage and if I find them I'll chuck 'em in the back of the car and you can get the data you need . . .

If your thinking of using a 'busa scavenge pump then they are reasonably adaptable, I know of one that was fitted to a Yam Thunder Ace with a 'mushroom' shaped adapter and a longer drive shaft made from silver steel.
