CATs

I'm having a manifold and system made for the Fiesta in a couple of weeks time.

Crunch time. I'm running fuel injection, and the Duratec engine is from 2008 in a 1983 shell.

Should I fit a CAT? What does the panel think?

1983 chassis means you don't need one. I think you escape on the Sports Libre bit as well, but that's less clear.

I'm getting the oddest reaction to all this praise of Sports Libre!

Also why must one wait 3 minutes between making posts on the forum? Has this increased recently?

There has been no change to the follow-on posting settings.

This is a standard part of VBulletin and is put there to discourage flooding.

We could always increase this if you would like.

It would be good if it was reduced to say 60 seconds rather than stay at the 180 it currently is.

Still another 83 seconds to wait before I post this!

Make that 51 seconds!!!!

Only 36 seconds to go!

That should be it!

Thanks for the advice. I'll not bother with the CAT then. I'll save the money for the fuel sampling hose instead 8-)

Unless you are planning to enter the BHC/BSC why are you wasting money on a dry break fuel sample point?
As your car is 1983, how can a "minor" modification such as this engine change in a sports libre be classed as a New Build?
