Get the regs for the event.
Read them carefully esp the tyres allowed, and you will see where you are. Make sure you are up to speed with the safety parts of the blue book. If you are unsure call the organisers for help. If you are in the wrong spot on the day, the organisers will move you to the correct class. Fuel and de-cat are irrelevant as long as you are using pumped fuel (ie VMax). I am assuming you have the National B licence etc? It will be a real blast doing Harewood in an Impreza, I've done it twice in mine in the past, fab hill. Good luck, let us know how you got on. |

Yes i have my M.S.A. licence, and running v-power. Ive been told i would be in class 1c,Paul Martin has the record, but he was running 600 hp,iam only running 340 hp,my car is a road car, full interior nothing removed, and no cage. I was just looking on the web to see how they work the classes out? thanks, stuart. |

Sorry the cat is an issue if the car is supposed to have one if it came with one at the time of manufacture. You are supposed to run with the cat if that is the case AFAIK

It needs a cat to run in 1c. You need to check tyre list 1A in the blue book to see if your tyres are on it.
Other than that, yellow tape on the battery earth and a sticker pointing to "off" by your ignition key should do it. Correct helmet, suit and gloves are the minimum for safety gear. Simon

Bottom line. If you turn up without a cat, you will not be turned away. There will be a class for the car, and you'll have a time for the event. You might end up running in modified production, but you'll have a time to compare with 1c.
The cat can go on for the next event when you're hooked. Which you will be
