Thumbs up

I would try BG Developments.

They seem to have most applications covered.

Pretty sure I have most of the dry sump gear you need (Pump, sump tank and filter) , I think the sump even has a mounting plate on the front for a Mallock.
I'll check and get back to you.

I had a spare few hours at the airport and found out LD19's are used on Mini Cooper 997/998 (not the S) and got the seals from Moss Europe. They didn't have the pistons but you can get them from the Classic Bike community.....

The engine is done ... I had to get a Crossflow tin sump cut up and grafted onto a spare Precrossflow std sump. Hurt a bit as moving back to cork seals from neoprene maybe something I'll regret !!

+90 Pistons - twin Dellortos - bunch of bananas exhaust - head done by Throbnozzle Racing should be good for a stonking 90bhp ...

Front hubs are the alloy version of Herald hubs but with Ford stud pattern. The redrilled Herald hubs that came with it in a box were heavy and like Swiss cheese after being drilled so I binned them ....

Using 5x13 Alleycats with Dunlop classic tyres - not sure the chassis will take wider or stickier ..

1600e gearbox with modern clutch ready to go and also sourced the correct length prop.

Petrol tank came out of my hydroplane ..... :-)

Will see what it all looks like together before working out what dry sump tank will fit ...

Chassis is back on the jig to have the rear end rebuilt to take a modern rollhoop ..

Will try and get a few pics when put together ...

I think I mentioned that I had several x-flow and pre X flow sumps in the garage, in fact have a brand new, unused pre x flow, still has the Ford labels....

Sept Update

So as always things never quite go to plan ...

Tim has been busy - nose rebuilt - pedal box built - engine and gearbox mounts in and rear end is nearly finished

Engine, gearbox, front uprights, rack, fuel tank and dry sump tank all finished.

I currently have 5 1/2 " Ford Alleycats to roll it around on

and will sell off the "Carlos Fandango" wheels ...

Things are progressing a little .. rear axle converted to rose joints and rear suspension finished .. battery and fuel tank in .. front suspension started ...

So the car gently progresses .... with the emphasis on the gentle ..

Front suspension moving forward but the original pick up point rear/top is slightly wrong causing the wishbones to lock up on travel so are being moved a bit ...

Nose cone mould is being made up - but will need to slice up the nose as the chassis botom rail is narrower (a Mallock is square) - just a minor cut 'n shut job ..

Nice work! Just a thought about roll over bar supports (front or rear) see the current thread on this forum about MSA regulation changes!

Yup two supports go forward - one side is easy - but the nearside needs an extra bit of strengthening from the mount point to take the load.

Tim who's doing the chassis is an ex Mallock man and his early Mallock is sat next to this car ... similar in concept but very different in execution..

Putting an LSD in a mallock is a bit like having a button on the dash with rotate on it. Everyone I have known who used an LSD took it out sharp ish and stayed with standard open ford or an ATB. I use an ATB as I think do most of the hillclimb supersports cars. Just an observation.
