Desktop background picture erase??
I have a (Porsche) picture off a site of a supplier as a desktop background pic. I can't delete it or impose another pic for some reason.
Explorer tells you have to put a pic as background but not how to delete one! Never had this problem before. Any ideas please? Graham. |

Thanks, but does not work! Picture still there and will not clear or be replaced by another selected!
I've right clicked on the pic of the background, followed your path but still there... As i go through the sequence, I select another pic shown on the pre-view screen click Apply, and that new pic flashes on the full screen for a very brief moment and the 'stuck' picture instantly reappears and sticks! |

OK this maybe an 'installed' backgropund, seen it a couple of times before.
Go to Control Panel, add/remove programs. In the list can you see anything that looks like what you have as an installed package. i.e Acme Engineering Porsche Calendar??? |

Allan: you ARE correct!
Fireblade: Cannot see anything like it. This is where i got the 'stuck' picture from Francis Tuthill's porsche site, galleries. http://www.francistuthill.co.uk/cms/...main//new6.jpg |

Fixed!
Ran Norton full scan for viruses and it clear'd straight after. Norton found one virus since scanning the day before I imported the picture. |
