Uphill Racers is on a distinguished road
Doune

The main news of the day surrounds a fairly major accident suffered by Trevor Willis in the OMS 25. The incident occurred between Oak Tree and Garden Gate and appears to have wiped a couple of wheels off of the car. It will be a big challenge to get the car back in action again in time for tomorrows competition runs, but if anyone can manage it then it’ll be Trevor and Team OMS.

Others who didn’t finish the days practice include British Sprint Championship leader Stewart Robb, making a rare BHC appearence in his ex. Moran/Leinster Pilbeam MP88, and 1600cc front runner Richard Spedding with his Force PC.

Overall practice times saw the local heroes to the fore with Wallace Menzies and Lee Adams in the top 3 overall. Fortunately Scott Moran was on hand to uphold English honour with 2nd place!

Todays best 3 times:[/B]
Wallace Menzies – 42.29s
Scott Moran – 42.98s
Lee Adams – 43.01s
