editing post

Hi ,ive put some bits in the for sale section. However i would like tto edit my post?? Ive looked but cant find an edit button ?? Any help appreciated

Answer is that you can't as the edit function times out a short time after posting, about 20 minutes as I recollect. Its a lot shorter than that in some other forums.

The good reason for this is to stop members removing information that has caused later discussion.

What you can do is add a reply correcting the earlier post.

Thanks ,was hoping to delete items from the list that had sold rather than scrolling through .thanks anyway
