OK, some answers defy physics
Front seats approx 30kg each, back seat similar, carpets around 20kg, door cards 6kg, but by then you would be in mod prod so the required cage would add most if not all the weight back in.

Returning to the subject of seats I run with one of the Corbeau seats from a 1995 Mondeo touring car, still got Paul Radisich name embroidered on it, weighs 3.5 kg, age of that has never been questioned

Seats are (allegedly) 6k each without mounts etc so a big saving for me.

I'll put a cage in when a decent engine goes in. Which might be a while.

Still running a standard engine, and will continue 'till I'm happy I can't get any quicker. Which may also be some time !

In the meantime, a bit of weight off won't harm the environment...

The only weight you can lose is the carpets, spare wheel, and jack Simon

Yeah I know, the seats are the biggest saving. Still, the soundproofing is still to go and me on the diet

When you find a diet that works, let me have a copy, Nick weighs 5 stone less than me , so i have to drive twice as hard.
