It should do. I'm learning a lot about cooling systems so its quite a valuable lesson for me.

Radiator is done. I'll collect it today. Pics to follow.

This is how I asked for it to be modified. The outlet is blanked off and relocated to the end cap. This allows the radiator to be turned on its head, so the two ports are on the drivers side instead of the passenger side of the car.

Radiator is in, and almost ready for testing. Just a couple of jubilee clips to do and I can fill it with water.

Fits ok, no issues with clearance, lots of room around the alternator for the new bottom hoses to run.

In an ideal world, I'd go back to square one, and design the rad without the horizontal split, and then I could run the hot water from the top of the block straight in to the top of the rad, and do away with the ally pipe that runs across the length of the top of the radiator.

I'll test it at the weekend.

If I get the 8mm hose from Halfrauds, I may run it tonight. The temptation is certainly there. Just wish I had an extractor fan to vent the exhaust fumes outside, as its ruddy cold (and noisey) working with the garage door open.

Why the need for 2 fans on a sprint car? Seems heavy to me
