yes, I gather that the oil companies are allowed to put up to 5% ethanol into petrol without having disclose it an an additive.

I was told that addition of 10% thinners works quite well, but never been brave enough to try it.........

Yes 10% ethanol shall be getting borderline safety for longevity of rubber components including fuel lines, especially in older cars.

Probably worth reminding people to keep an eye on these things from today so as not to risk fires from fuel leaks etc.

I guess the scrutes will be checking cars more thoroughly too.
