Gordon March

Hi

By chance we had the daughter of Gordon stay with us last night who had pictures of him competing at Shelsey and Prescott around 1955 in a Ginn (?) car.

Gordon died last week and his memorial service is being held next week.

The family would be intersted in anyone still around who knew Gordon, competed with him, or has photos of him competing.

It was a Djinn (French I think): Rupert Instone's car originally?

It was at Race Retro in 2008 and I thought it was due back at Shelsley this year?

Thanks

Sabrejet - you are probably correct, evidently Robert Instone then built the next car which Gordon used at Shelsley.

The only photo I've seen (with Instone driving) is in Simon Taylor's excellent Shelsley Walsh book.
