Gould GR55 Alastair should be out soon !!

Good news - Alastair has finally collected my Gould !!

It wont sit teasing me in my garage any more collecting dust - I am delighted that Alastair bought the car as I know its gone to a very good home.

Just to wish you all the best possible times in your new machine Alastair and to remind you we will be watching you get your British HillClimb Championship number next year - so watch out boys!

Alastair now has the first Gould ever built and the latest UK Gould - cant be bad!!

Seriously Alastair, Loraine and I wish you all the very best success in the Gould for the end of this year and for the next season.

regards

Poacher Pitt

Good new indeed. Just to be pedantic though - I'd argue that the 84/1 was the first Gould built.

Yes, I'd go with that one, Sabrejet.

I was always under the impression that the first Gould that was built was a spaceframe job, designed and built jointly by Gould and Staniforth.

That was the Gould-Terrapin. It was based on the Terrapin plans and owed as much to the fantastic Allan Staniforth as it did to David Gould.

Damn, I was going to have your car. I'd saved up £24.52 already, didn't have much more to go

Good luck Alistair.
