Surely there is room between that lug and the bottom engine mounting and still have the pulley in the tub without cutting anything.....

Hi all oil pump no 101 well it feels like it the scrap metal bin is full, this one has 219 kart chain and drive sprockets so won,t break

That looks much better, though a toothed rubber belt would have been good enough. However, at least the drive is now straight.....
