Gurston Down 18th July Accident

Many will know about the big accident at Gurston yesterday, today i recieved an email from Roy passing his thanks on etc :-


Just to let you know that I am ok & at work today, Once again I should like to apologise to you all I am deeply upset at being the cause of such a major disruption to the day upsetting every ones plans & all your hard work,

Can you please convey my heartfelt thanks to every one involved in my recovery, the medical team who were so professional, all the marshals especially the ones that arrived so quickly, when I was upside down in the hedge trapped in the car the sound of there voices was so reassuring they were so professional assesed the situation and got me out in seconds.

Obviously I shall have to withdraw my entry for august, but I will most definitely be along on the Sunday to thank them all personally.

Glad to hear Roy Barker's OK - even if the EVO isn't!!

Its a spectacular way of preventing the opposition from challenging a champioship lead though!!!!

Also glad Roy is OK.

Although I have thank Roy for preventing anyone coming back at my BTDBTDBTD time thus keeping my 100% record this season and taking the 2010 Gurston Top 10 Challenge Trophy!

100% record is well deserved. Very well done on the championship Andy, sorry I didn't get a chance to say so before I left on Sunday. Hopefully now you can let everyone else have a go for a win !
