Harewood 15th May 2011

Rd 5 of the BHC and Lee Adams WINS! The top four places annexed by the 1600cc Racing Car class and no less than 7 making it into the Top 12. There was a weather issue with the light drizzle getting a great deal heavier just after 99% of the 1600 class had completed their first runs - the one to miss out was Will Hall who was red Flagged and took his re-run much later in adverse conditions.

Rd 6 and the Morans take a 1-2 - Scott winning with Roger second. Richard Spedding, who was second in Rd 5, finished second again completing a great week-end for the Yorkshireman. Although the whole field had pretty conistant conditions throughout qualifying no less than 5 1600s agian got into the run-off!

I wasn't suggesting that anyone wasn't capable of winning ... I don't think it'll be long before Adams wins a round without weather help and I hope he does ... I was merely commenting about Harewood yesterday - I saw him at Prescott and was mighty impressed. It's great for the sport that smaller engined cars are beating larger ones, even if it does mean a few noses out of joint (and nosecones probably!)
