looking like heavy rain on Saturday and light rain Sunday at present Steve. However last Sunday's 3 Sisters meeting was forceast everything from thunderstorms to gale force winds and rain! In the end we had quite a pleasant warm but overcast day with about 6 spots of rain at lunchtime.
I've stopped worrying about the weather, just go prepared for all eventualities

Richard

PS got FCRs finsished at last. Will be trying them out on the weekend. See you there.

Sunday had a great atmosphere in spite of torrential rain, thunder and lightning.
Easy to say in a road car with a heater ?

Rumour has it Steve Wilkinson requested rubber plimsoles and a lightning rod for the commentary villa.

1B competed vigorously in the last two wet runs, despite no chance of improving a position. Which is why I keep going back.

Roll on 2012, and a monsoon season to match India

Big thanks to the marshals at the top of the hill (Graham and Keith I think) for putting the fire out on my newly christened 'flaming saxo' on Saturday. Despite the frustrations of the burning car, I was very pleased to have knocked a couple of seconds off my previous PB - and that was on the run where it was burning!

However, when the heat wrap caught fire again on Sunday, I thought it best to admit defeat and get home to fix it properly..... at least I missed the thunderstorms.
