Well, if it's like the rest of the week has been it will be sunny, cloudy, wet and dry. And windy. Mostly windy.

AllanMcD (of this very forum) had his first visit to Harewood at the last event. I told him it was always windy. It was the least windy weekend since wind was invented. Wind had a weekend off

We got away lightly with the weather yesterday. When that rain came in before practice I reckoned that would set the tone for the day. Gazebos offered no protection because the rain was horizontal. It brightened up quickly but the wind was awful all day.

The meeting was also quite a slow affair which made the day a bit ponderous.

The times were not quick either. BTD was about 2~3 sec off the expected pace.

Congratulations to Richard Vaughan who scored a win in our 1100cc class.

Congratulations to Richard. I missed that one. Hope there's plenty more to come

Yeah well done Rich.

Craig, on your last run, you were losing some fluid when you came round Quarry, looked to be centre top of engine region.

Si, must try harder!!

Yes a very slow day although we were lucky with the rain but not so with the wind. Good to watch the sidecars, they are nutters!
Thanks must go to the marshals who stood out in that weather all day and did a great job.

Thanks for that.
Yes I have a weak bladder when scared.
The car was also losing fluid too.

Seriously though...

2 options.
Water / steam loss. ~ new raditor fitted and no evidence of coolant loss on the day
Fine spray of fuel coming out of the petrol filler breather hole on RH cornering. I will fit a check valve to the breather. Thanks.

Craig

Jeez, you're a hard taskmaster Andy. The throttle's off of the carpet for 0.3s from 2nd to 3rd before I arrive at quarry! I've run out of ideas now. The bloody thing just won't go any faster than 11.7 in the last sector. Everywhere else I'm quicker. You're a jinx lol.
