Help with Broadspeed project.

Good afternoon all,
It's a long shot but here goes. I am trying to gather photographs of the "Esso Uniflo" GP2 Mk1 Broadspeed Escorts from 1974 in particular the 1300cc BDH powered cars as I am starting to gather parts to build a replica.
I would dearly like any photo's that show the livery / stickers so I can replicate them as close as possible to the original cars.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
John.

Hi John

Not sure if this is of any use at all but the following website is for ford motorsport models and has quite a collection of MK1 Escorts. They are usually pretty accurate and these guys may have some photos etc of the car you are looking for.

www.fordmotorsportmodels.com

Regards Steve

There was a book by Graham Robson called "Ford in Touring Car Racing" published in 2001, that has a few photos of Broadspeed Escorts in various liveries. The problem is that like so many photos taken in that era they are usually in black and white. The colour ones also tend to have suffered from a certain amount of colour shift and degradation.

I know a guy who is currently restoring a Broadspeed car - he frequents Loton so will ask what info he has next time I see him.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the info. I'm pretty sure of the colours but it's the stickers and positions that I'm struggling a bit with.
Cheers
John.

Just seen this one, http://www.pmcgphotos.com/automotive...rd-escort.html
