Hewland FT200 or variant
Really looking for FG400/FGA/FGB to handle 400hp but understand FT can be upgraded with larger ring and pinion.

I tried 300 bhp through an FT.....Not Good!

When I was looking to put a rover V8 and FT 200 in my hillclimb Lola i was advised not to (12'' wide slicks). The Rover is hardly huge in bhp/lbft.
FG is another thing, and the box i saw at Roy Lane's was much larger in bulk and had survived Harts and more. |

I have FGC FGB FGA FG400 Ft200 gearboxes for sale
Ft200 good for 400 bhp but not sprint hillclimb starts! better off with FGB type box also depends on cwp ratio size |
