Spot on, redturner.
I have a softy spot for the BSA D14 Bantam as I learnt to ride on one when I was 11. No they weren't the swiftest things around but nice examples could be obtained then for very little money.
The Olympic cyclist Hugh Porter lived near us and he actually overtook me on his bicycle.
So I bought a 500 Triumph Speed Twin.

And excuse me.....

if I were to tell you about some of the cars from my distant past, you would have prefered me to stick to bikes. What about a Lloyd 600, a real GREASY smell car, but I think it was the first front wheel drive PRODUCTION car in the UK......
