I'm first!

Yup! I've entered the Leaders Championship, in my newly aquired Jedi...which I've driven less than 50 yards so far... ...... ....

What class does your car fall into? H, I or even J.

You were quick, my regs only arrived in todays post so I picked them off the mat at 17:15.

Class I 1000cc Suzuki GSXR K2.
I started out with the intention of getting a 600cc, just to ease me in, but....

I took delivery in November, and have thoroughly enjoyed replacing bits and pieces, setting up the suspenson and generally buggering about!

All I need now is somewhere to actually DRIVE it. 50 yards up my works service road will not really prepare me for Loton in April!

Anyone know of any test days available in Feb/March?

Well H & D LCC normally have an annual test day at Loton in March.
I assume that it is on this year.

Another good value scheme is sharing a test afternoon with 2 or 3 other drivers at Curborough. You get a good few runs in and no pressure.
Probably the most time I ever spent in my car when I had it was there under those circumstances.
You may know some others who might like to go with you or sometimes people advetise a spare space. I think Judd gives the family rocket an airing in the Spring, or has done. Wouldn't hurt to send him a PM.

We've done those days at Curborough, about £75 each with 4 cars sharing the day.

I hear my name called??! We've made a booking for Thursday April 5th, but all the places for that day have been filled. Do you want to PM me your contact details and if anything comes free I'll let you know?

Costs are now £225 for a half day's hire, £450 for the full day. A maximum of 10 cars per day, which makes it a bargain!

To be honest, I'd have thought you'd easily find 5 people lurking on here who'd be keen to share the costs of a half day with you?

Oliver

Are you worried about the handling on the new rescue unit then?
