"SIMS Ken Passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2012, aged 67 years. Much loved husband of Audrey and dad to Sean and Kip (Michelle), brother to Roger and Cath and grandad to Ashley, Ben and Jade. A Service to celebrate Ken's life will take place at Worcester Crematorium on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 at 1.30 p.m. (informal dress - possibly something red). So very sad to hear the news of Ken's passing. He was a great competitor and always a pleasure to be next to in the paddock. A gentle giant and a true gentleman.

I used to hope that we would see him out again as I never had the pleasure of photographing him since I have been signing on. He was a lovely guy and a joy to watch, he will be missed very much.

Sad indeed and a very colourful car/driver lost to us all.
I always remember him coming into bottom Esse at a ballistic rate of knots full of drama and daring, kissing the sleepers sometimes!
