login problems, sometimes

Sometimes when I login I get sent back the login page even though I used the right user name and password. It appears as though I have been rejected even though the login was in fact successful. If I click on the "Uphill Racers > Forum" link (upper left of page) I can get to the subject lists and it confirms that I am logged in (my login name in RH corner).
Any ideas?

I will try to post more info if I can replicate this problem.
