Took my car out of the trailer at 07.30 and put it back at 11.30 - unused.

Sometimes, just sometimes, selfless loyalty has its reward. The little bugger won his class by 2 secs and got his first ever motorsport trophy. This meant that when we got home SWMBO waited on us hand and foot, brought us tea and scones in front of a log fire, followed by roast beef sarnies and beer, and then let us watch the comparatively dry Canadian GP all night.
