Manx Classic 2012 - 26, 27, 28 April 2012

Received my Reg`s and Entry form for the Manx Classic 2012 last night, now thats what I call advance planning, 8 months to sort out our first comfirmed event of the 2012 season, going to take a large slice of next seasons budget, but to be able to tell the wife we are going on holiday at the end of April has got to be a bag full off brownie points .

At this time there are 3 of us going over, if any one else is interested let us know the bigger the numbers the better the deal we can get for the ferry.

John

I will be going again I think.....but having gone a few times now I would be absolutely gobsmacked if you could arrange any kind of deal with Steampacket bearing in mind that the organisers have been failing for about 7 years now!!! Its also not worth doing their ferry and accomodation deals....you can get the accomodation a lot cheaper if you contact direct. I can highly recommend the Mount Murray Spa hotel who have done a deal with the organisers though. Very nice hotel and a good deal.
The regs were emailed to me in June.....thats 10 months!

The organisers have given an extra run on the first day & an extra hour i think on the last day so they seem to be organising a bit better as for the steamracket i think its impossible to get a good deal!

Last rumour heard is that Tesco/Stobart were looking at running their own ferry because they couldn't get a deal either!
