Midland Speed 2012
Just thought I post a link to the Midland Speed Calendar for 2012...
A fantastic looking range of venues and what a geographical spread, so many new venues. I'll definately be signing up, be great to have some 1B competiton, Kames is definately worth a trip. J |

The MSC calendar has been put together with more venues over a wider geographical spread for 2012.
This is to allow Drivers to stay in one of three regions and still do at least 8 qualifying rounds without having to drive the length of the country to do a full championship. The regions are Scotland/north of England, Central UK, Southern England. This will help competitors to control their travelling costs. |

Very good calendar.
But what about the scoring system - does it still require Angus to get within 2% of Rob Stevens to score decent points? |

The sports libre class breaks have been altered to reflect the national classes of up to 1400cc, 1401cc - 2000cc and over 2000cc.

I didn't realise that Gurston Down, Goodwood, Lydden, Kames, Anglesey, and Harewood had moved to the English Midlands.

Don't the National classes have only one break point - 2000cc?

The Nat A hillclimbs split at 2000, however most Nat B Sprints and Hillclimbs use the 1400 split.

Thanks for the correction. The MSC will use both 1400 and 2000 splits.
