This is for trials / endurance rallies, and for trips to France for the Classic Le Mans. Far too nice to take it apart and start modifying it.

My dad (Howard) has bought it, and he is selling his rwd Suzuki X90 which he has trialled for the past 5 years, having previously trialled his home built Liege with great success. I cant see this doing the Lands End or the Exeter trials though

I'll be the spanner monkey for anything major, and maybe my 6yr old lad will get called upon to bounce for him from time to time.

First thing I want to do is get some photos of the XR and the Escort together on the driveway.

Got it!

Looks very tidy. Needs some work under the bonnet, bit of wiring, seats need raising, some rubbers missing from various places, but given its age its a belter.
