1.Scott Moran 2.Roger Moran 3.Wallace Menzies 4.Trevor Willis 5.Lee Adams 6.Tom New 7.Chris Merrick 8.Will Hall 9.John Bradburn 10.Richard Spedding Not sure what happened to Trevor on last Run off but what a season closer 2nd to 5th decided on the day and 3 1600 s in the top 10 Well done to all on a cracking Season |

Yep - another great day at Loton, and what a finish to the day - Scott Moran getting a new hill record on the last run of the day. It don't get any better than that!

A super weekend despite the weather on Sunday morning. Many thanks to all marshalls and officials and congrats to all the various winners. Our thoughts and best wishes to the timing official who was taken ill on Saturday.

Congratulations are also in order for Rob Stevens who broke the Up to 2 Litre Sports Libre record.
Scott's "unexpected" hill record was superb. He looked effortless through Fallow and Museum. Despite a tardy start Scott was 0.18 up on Roger's time by Triangle. At the split on Cedar Straight he was 0.67 up - possibly due to recording 122mph compared to Roger's 111mph in the speed trap. Having clawed himself up to third Wallace Menzies was bitterly disappointed that he let it slip on the second run and allowed Trevor Willis back into the Top Three. Given the weather at the start of the day I thought that (a) H&DLCC officials did a great job in running the event, (b) the marshals were as ever super efficient especially in the very wet conditions, (c) the Championship finale was highly entertaining when it could have fizzled out and (d) the visiting MSA oficials probably saw the best event of the year!
