My First Hillclimb event this weekend!

thats right, Shelsley Walsh this weekend will be my first ever hillclimb event...

is anyone else going?

maybe i'll see some of you?

Competing or watching?: Yep, we'll (my son and I and a few others) be going to Shelsley...............from Stourbridge.............it's a small world! We do motorsport, but not yet hill-climbing..............only a question of time

yeah theres alot of people from stourbridge and alot of us that are a friendly bunch too

I'd love to have a go, but...

I dont even know how to go about it...

my car is nowhere near race prepared

and i'd make a fool of myself.... (although i like to think im a good driver - as all blokes tend to - im probably not as good as i think)

Why don't we meet up on Sunday?

How about after the first Top 12 Run-off in the Paddock adjacent to the MAC Shop?

Why don't all of us friendly bunch from in and around Stourbridge (that'll include Fireblade) arrange to meet somewhere at such and such a time just to say Hello? Suggestions?

By the way Ste!, having started seriously 'trackday-ing' this year with a hardcore car, you can be absolutely sure that you are definitely not as good a driver as you think you are! People with half the car and ten times the ability will rung rings round you for quite a while, but don't let that put you off for a minute; we all have to start somewhere; start fully knowing your (big) limitations, listen, learn and above all, enjoy and one day you will get to be as good as the car you are driving.

if it looks like me, and is wearing a teeshirt that says "Global warming is awesome", and is holding a camera with a lens about a foot long... it could well be m... come say hi or grab me to go meet everyone
