The dust (or was that fog) has settled on the last round at a sodden King Edward Park in Newcastle. Normally the prettiest spot for a 'climb but not this year. Doug Barry (Lola) won the battle but unfortunately lost the war as it were. Lightning strikes caused the event to be stopped early and the wording of the rules meant that Doug won the round but Tim Edmondson (Gould/Force PC) become the overall winner for 2011. Steve Moxon was impressive on slicks in atrocious conditions ahead of the fwd brigade. Further report:
