New Track

Hi All

Well the Slot car adventure is well under way and the club we have set up in southampton is now over subcribed,

Here is the new portable track we are hoping to bring to some events to try and get the young ones interested in motorsport and look forward to any comments and seeing you all again soon.

Work hard NO, most of the lads from the club built it, its great they are so enthusiastic, i just done a few tricky bits and made the Tea,

We will be at Shelsley on 20th 21st with the Slot Car Track, hopefully you will all come and have a go and support us, maybe we can run a competition on the Saturday after the event for competitors - marshalls etc , Should be Fun.

Great looking track Tony, shame im not at Shelsley. The only problem with slot car racing is it leads to Radio Control caer racing which is more expensive then the real thing!!!

Slot racing has come along way in recent years we have some cars that only cost £20 to build and can reach speeds of nearly 50 mph in a fraction of a second, It's electric!

Forgot to mention hopefully some of the Drivers from the BSCRA will be poping in to give a little display for us, also we have our own Stig who you can take on and try to beat! oh and he,s only 12 yrs old .

His heart ticks like a watch.
All we know is, he is called the Stig!
