I have only competed for a couple of seasons at club level (Auto66) unlike a lot of the very experienced chaps on this forum.

The daft looking Mini in my Avatar runs in Libre class due to having a Vaux engine & far too many other mods which would also disqualify him from Mod-Prod. There's a few of us who have fun racing Minis in Libre class from the 16vminiclub.

I can highly recomend this sport to put the most enormous smile on your face & the biggest hole in your wallet

I have heard mixed opinions on GRP front ends, the inner wing (viewed side on) has material beyond the centre line of the wheel/hub so from what I can gather from the Bluebook seems fair to me???

The front wings are part of the unitary construction , so strictly speaking you need the parts of the wings up to the f.axle , a bit pointless and silly in my opinion to keep a couple of sharp edged bits of tin sticking out the front of the shell , but then again my opinions could well be deemed pointless and silly

There appears to be a few issues with top mounts, certainly in the North. As far as I can make out, top mounts with adjustability are only allowed if they came standard with the car.At Harewood the last time out, the scrutineers came back for a second look at a few cars including mine.
Lowering my car increased the negative camber notably on the rear.

It depends how it's done. As siany has said , you can't use adjustable top mounts.
Not sure what it says about different hubs. I have slightly longer front wishbones to get a bit of negative camber.

What car is it on?

sorry i should have explained a bit better. I have seen the issues with adjustable top mounts and wasnt going to go down that route - i meant rear trailing arms machined out, and hubs adjusted for negative camber on the rear.

I have also since found out that the hubs on the front can be machined aswell for negative camber - do you think this sort of mod (for both rear and front) would be allowed in road going? cant see where it says it isn't!

Any second now someone is going to come along and say "If it doesn't say you can in the blue book then you can't" to them I would say "poppycock".

Depending on what car you have (still the 306?) you may just have to change the arms from another model.
For example I could change the trailing arms on my 205 for ZX arms and would have a nice amount of negative camber.

No, I'm not. I totally agree with you on that point.
