yeah still the 306 thats fine - i thought it might be pushing it a bit. Thanks for the advice.

You guys at barbon this weekend? I've done two sprints now but first hillclimb on saturday!

One more question:

just re-read the blue book:

road going

11.4.6. Interior trim must remain fitted (except floor
carpets/mats).

therefore i can strip out all the carpet and just have the seats bolted down on bare metal?

Were you at Three Sisters in April ?
Other than the gradient, the biggest difference is the width of the track.
Positively anorexic compared to Three Sisters.

Most 1B cars I've seen are down to the metal. Mine are still in after protests from my good lady

That's correct.

You can also fit fibreglass/carbon bonnet and hatch.

3 questions:

1. class 1b. am i allowed to remove my sunroof and patch it up in alli?
2. Can i remove the carpet etc from the boot?
3. rose jointed / eliptical mountings arent allowed - does this extend to drop links? As these are generally rose jointed when upgraded from standard.

Cheers again.

Dan

p.s met dennis doyle at barbon - top bloke - hope you've got your disks sorted! are you at scammonden?

Couldn't agree more - Absolutely about top bloke, but yes disks are sorted, courtesy of Steve Cawley who took a smidgeon ff the circumference on Thursday. Yes I will be at Scammonden (bedding them in on the run down the hill to the start). Weather forecast OK so far. See you there.

1. Thats what i've done without problem.
2. I'd have thought so as the rule states that you can remove the carpet.
3. Best to ask a scrute i'm not sure about this one.

I was told no way could i remove the sun roof when i was running the saxo, as it was factory fitted and had to still work. Again who knows what is right or wrong , untill someone protests. Carpet from the boot, i was told to put mine back in, well at least the carpet over the wheel arches, was told that was trim not carpet!

Steve

However as the 205 has a glass sunroof which is the safer option, if you happen to invert the car.
