Pembrey Week-end - Rounds 6 & 7

Well what carnage! Engines expiring, driveshafts breaking, electrical problems, clutches exploding, shedding bodywork, bending wings and oil leaks!

Once again Pembrey proved 'challenging' to say the least. I was particularly disappointed that a certain green car 'retired' early!

There were several new class records and with Stewart Robb Snr winning both run-offs he has certainly moved into a commanding lead in the championship.

Saturday was a steep learning curve to say the least.

I had to be talked into having my 3rd run but after that the breather problem wasn't sorted to my satisfaction and as I was so far from home in a car i had to drive back it wasn't worth taking a chance so I pulled my sunday entry.

It was an amazing track to drive, extremely fast and challenging. Just a shame I had problems so couldn't enjoy it properly.

Many thanks to Dave West and Dave and Martin Depper for their invaluable assistance.

New parts now ordered so fingers crossed.

Wondered why you were at Shelsley on Sunday RD - sorry to hear of your problems.

Hope your not letting a Yellow Peugeot driver from the Kinver area sort it.

My apologies for holding up Saturday with the result of a perforated block..... My last GSXR crank has gone back in with the last lower crankcase, but I still (at least) have a few rods left in the parts bin...

Thinking about a ZX10.... but not too many about to verify strength. Ho hum.
