Petition to rebuild Hadrian's Wall...

Quick note to say what a well done to all the Scot's who made a long trip down and delivered some fanastic performances with some similarly fantastic machines. Lee's Raptor was obviously up there in lights but Mad Mac's Evo and Steve Marrs amazingly light (224kg wet) Saxon were also great to see - not to mention the others who brought spares the length of the country overnight to run on Sunday. All in good spirit too.

...and now can you all kindly sod off back to Scotland so we can have our class records back!

Seriously though, well done guys - this is what the sport is all about. Look forward to seeing the tartan contingent out in force again soon.

C

I said the same thing yesterday......We ought to think about building a wall to keep them out lol ....

Some great driving from the visiting Scottish guys.....Some class records.....Some dented wallets.....

All in all a good meeting and look forward to seeing the Scots boys on tour at another Midland hill soon

Sitting here with Kevin in the morning after a great run home- only six hours although he has another 3 to get to Aberdeen. Every one really enjoyed the meeting and the banter, will be back down soon.

Yep _ we had a fantastic weekend. Thanks for the hospitality and hopefully see you all soon.

Lee's performance was exceptional - to take on the big cars on a level playing field and qualify fastest on both runs was amazing - well done! Seeing him flat through Orchard was just incredible.

Steve

Kevin for me was undoubtable the hero of the weekend bless him... Driving all the way from Aberdeen to Prescott on Saturday so that Les's car could be fixed for Sunday...

There was some fantastic driving this weekend along with some pretty spectacular incidents. Thankfully everyone walked away with no injury apart from to their wallet...

The highlight of the weekend for me though has to be getting cuddles from Grant

Have you looked at the trap speeds for Lee's runs? Aside from first practice, every single run was 97mph. That's consistency!

Fiddlesticks! I looked it up before the second runoff - I'd already got home by the time that started. Still cracking consistency and utterly impressive. What caused the higher speed for the last run? Was it a better start or a different line or what?
