Someone should suggest he does his belts up a bit more!! I didn't think you should be able to turn around with them on and tight.

I presume thats the pop off sound that Rescue Dude was referring to back in post 62, which can be heard on all the runs

That's exactly it.

It was quieter after the first run but was still there for the other runs.

are those external wastegates on the turbos ?

whats the spec on the turbos ?

what boost pressure ? what RPM ?

i presume methanol burners dont need intercoolers ?

If it's a guessing game, I will punt for the boost control causing the venting and it being somewhat normal assuming it's running the 9th butterfly setup.

Have a listen to this, looks like the right era.

He only got it on the cam for a couple of seconds and spin it....

Yes they are external wastegates.

Awaiting comfirmation of spec of turbos at this time.

Boost pressure/rpm as above.

Yes, cosworth developed a pre compresure injection system, but this car run`s a PCi system prior to entry to the plenum chamber.

Be assured this is no guessing game, the boost controler system is under investigation.
