Prescott 30Apr/01May

Great practice session today, marred by a great many offs (none serious). Surprised to see Trevor Willis in his new Powertec V8-engined OMS 25. The Gould GR59 was a no-show but hopefully we'll see it soon.....

Today is what i have been waiting for all winter!!!!. I got up at 5.30 due to being overly excited. So many class records. That evo of Donald. m was just a bit loopy. Lee Adams proved unbeatable, inspiring driving. Good day for John Bradburn.

I'd have to agree on the Evo - judging by the black smoke (and the outright speed) it was really pushing out some power too! Great to see such a strong Scottish contingent.

Just back from a stunning w/e, a big thanks to Keith & Dad in the Qautros as well as Mike in the Puma and Donald in the Evo, glad I could help you all out over the w/e, now we can do it all next w/e at Shelsley Walsh, (Donald see you and the crew at Loton in a few weeks, well done on the class record)

John

Here's a little bit of video from where I used to marshal at Forrestburn.
This is from 2009, so maybe only about 700bhp

The black smoke has always been a characteristic.

I think Donald was running about 700bhp for much of last year but has now wound the boost up and the current level is over 800...!

Turbo and supercharger gives it almost zero lag - and he's built it all pretty much himself.
